Hey Elon Musk! We need you! The Virgin Islands must rebuild their energy grid entirely after experiencing two back to back category 5 hurricanes. It's time to convert to renewables.

These photographs are all 35mm film photos from St. John, US Virgin Islands, where I grew up. The photos were taken Christmas 2016, a year before the islands were devastated by Hurricane Irma and Maria in September 2017. St. John is 1 of 3 US Virgin Islands and neighbors to the British Virgin Islands. St. John is home to around 4,000 year round residents. After the 2 back to back hurricanes Irma and Maria, St. John currently has only 1,000 residents. If you would like to help with recovery efforts please consider donating directly to St. John Rescue. The photos from this collection are also available on behalf of relief efforts and all profits will be donated directly to recovery in St. John, US Virgin Islands. All photos from this collection are limited edition prints and can be purchased via my Etsy shop or by contacting me directly. Please contact me for more information.  Thank you.
